Foods to Avoid when you have Gout

 "Mga pagkain na dapat iwasan kung ang inyong URIC ACID ay mataas sa normal value nito"

There are foods, condiments and/or beverages to avoid if you have elevated uric acid level  and if you are in this condition you may have gout.

The normal uric acid level are 2.4-6.0mg/dl (female) and 3.4-7.0 mg/dl (male)
When I was diagnose with gout and was given prescription medicines my doctor gave me a list of foods to avoid that may elevate my uric acid levels, here on the list are:
Alumahan
Bagoong
Beans/ Monggo
Beer
Broccoli
Cauliflower
Coke
Dilis
Gravy / kahit anong sarsa
Hasa-hasa
Internal Organs (laman loob)
     Intestine
     Liver
     etc.
Lapad Bilog Bilong bilong
Mackerel
Meat Extracts:
     Hotdogs
     Salami
     Sausage
Patis / fish sauce
Spicy Instant Ramen
Soy Sauce
Sardine / oily fish
Short Macarel
Silinyasi
Tahong
Tamban
Tanigi
Tawilis
Tunsoy

To diagnose if you have gout,  the uric acid blood test is used to detect high levels of uric acid in the blood, while the uric acid urine test is used to help diagnose the cause of recurrent kidney stones and to monitor people with gout for stone formation.
