Quick Method (Recommended)
- Open File Explorer (press Windows key + E)
- Click the View tab at the top
- Check the box Hidden items ✅
- Hidden files/folders appear as faded icons
Full Settings Method
- Open File Explorer → View → Options (or "Change folder and search options")
- Go to the View tab
- Under "Hidden files and folders," select Show hidden files, folders, and drives
- Click Apply → OK
Access AppData Quickly
- Press Windows key + R, type
%appdata%, press Enter - To go to the main AppData folder, click AppData in the address bar

Instant Shortcut (Fastest)
- Open Finder, then press: Command (⌘) + Shift + . (period)
- Hidden files appear as semi-transparent
- Press the same shortcut again to hide them
