How does the Earth rotate or spin?

There is an imaginary line where the earth rotates, this line passes through the North and South Poles of the planet.  This line is called the axis of rotation.

The Earth's rotation is going to the left meaning that the sun rises from the East and sets on the West; if the rotation of the Earth is going to the right then we will see a sun rising on West and sets in the East.

Ang mundo ay umiikot sa pakaliwang direksyon at ito ang dahilan kung bakit ang araw ay sumisikat sa Silangan at lumulubog sa Kanluran. Kapag nabaligtad ang ikot ng mundo, na ang mundo ay iikot sa direksyong pakanan, ang araw ay sisikat sa Kanluran at lulubog sa Silangan.
